Get professional-quality scanned images with the Microtek ArtixScan 1100. This 42-bit flatbed scanner has two scanning beds for photos and film, and uses Microtek's patented Emulsion Direct Imaging Technology for incredibly sharp transparency scanning. With E.D.I.T., there is no glass between the scanning lens, film, or light source, eliminating distortion and Newton rings that occur with traditional transparency adapters. An 8,000-element CCD ensures high-resolution clarity at an optical resolution of 2,000 x 1,000 dpi and up to 3.9 Dmax.
