DESCRIPTION

The ScanMaker III is Microtek's top-of-the-line flatbed scanner positioned for graphics professionals. It boasts a 600dpi optical resolution, but because it's a 36-bit scanner it can capture a much fuller range of light and shadow. The ScanMaker III has a higher gamma built into its firmware than mainstream-oriented scanners. Microtek's Twain driver, ScanWizard, includes a bevy of prescan tools and corrections that are easy to understand and use.
