Strength:

Very sharp and detailed. Great colors. The price for this quality is great.

Weakness:

Shadow areas are a tad darker than I prefer but, I think this is the fault of the ever down sizing cameras. The smaller we go, the less light gets to the film.

A very good general purpose film for the money. I paid $5.99 for a four pack. This is great outdoors on a sunny day. The blues & greens are very good. Some say the reds are weak. Personally, I find reds accurate.

Customer Service

Never had any problems. I always use and strongly suggest to everyone, use the best developing you can get. Don't take a chance on a cheap price for your pictures.

Strength:

cheap, sharp

Weakness:

weaker reds than Kodak

blues and greens are superb, with very good sharpness- has that fineline sharpness that shows hair, grass, animal hair, trees, leaves well. Shadows are not that detailed and a bit grainy, though, even with overexposure. Skin tones are a bit cool. Reds and oranges are very cool and with a little underexposure (only in bright light-because dark areas result in some graininess), saturates up nicely. A very good sharp print film for general purpose bright daylight use. It is cheap and works well with consumer photo lab printing. Usually, places that sell Super HQ 200 do not stock Superia 200 as well.

Strength:

Great for dayligth, More flexible at nigth shots, best when using tripod, great for landscape with heavy overcast clouds.

Weakness:

Long exposure times for handheld shots at nigth.

Great for everyday use, at nigths handheld up to 12 feet w/body flash. Great price in 4 packs w/$2.00 rebate cupon.

Strength:

cheap, sharp, and effective. It seams like wall-mart or Target etc. always have this suff of sale! Great for outdoor pics, and the blues and greens are terrific.

Weakness:

Shadows, and cream colored areas of my prints seem to come out very grainy.

This is a great film at a great price. It makes a good all around film and is a bit more conducive to enlargements than speed 400. I use it as a general purpose film, and if I get a shot I like I can blow it up to 5 x 7 no problem.

Strength:

Available at any Walmart. Cheap, usually available in 96 exposure pack.

Weakness:

Very grainy in dark spots. You will notice extreme grain in individuals with a tan or dark toned skin. Not a people film.

After comparing these prints with Kodak Gold 200 prints I will never use for people shots again. I like the vivid colors but that does not compensate for the grain in the prints. Kodak seems kind of flat outdoors but with a good polarizer you can get just as good color.

Strength:

Cheap compared to Superia, and other film.

Weakness:

very week reds, not great flesh tones.

Cheap, but if you want results you can show to people besides family, go with a more proffesional oriented film like superia, astia, velvia, or whatever depending on your situation.

Strength:

(This film doesn't have too many.)
-Enhances water blues and greens. Like water, just as long as the colors are from the outdoors and not around building or other.
-Bright and good with bright sunny days. (Not too bright though. Don't shoot pictures against bright reflective objects.)
-Cheap

Weakness:

-Reflective objects are way too bright.
-Grain in bright areas are not tight and easily visible.

This is an ok film. Expert photogs. tell me to use slide film, but I haven't used any. Buy the way, I shot this roll with a point and shoot. Buy this film if you're low on money and want a good film for outdoor shots.

Strength:

Very inexpensive
Can buy it at any supermarket
Surprisingly sharp
Color is fairly good

Weakness:

Reds are a little weak. Contrast was very average.

For an inexpensive general purpose film, I was pleasantly surprised with this product. This is perfect for people who want to load up their $75 point and shoot and take snap shots. I like the reds on Kodak films better, but this film gives you a tiny bit of those great fuji greens and blues. This film is a good value for the average picture taker who picks up film with their groceries.
