Very fine grain
Excellent color saturation

I photograph mostly outdoor and wildlife. I use the 800 speed for telephoto shooting. This film has almost no grain and the colors are great! Pictures of birds in flight are sharp and clear. This has to be the best color print film developed to date. One of the best things, price. 4 roll pack at K-mart is only $10.00.

Strength:

Nice grain for 800 speed film. Excellent color. Great for the price.

Weakness:

Can be pricey if not on sale.

Great film for low light or with flash. The first time I tried taking pictures at Raymond James Stadium the folks at Ritz recomended the 1600 speed film, which I used. However about midway thru the game I ran out of 1600 and began using the 800. After developing you couldn't tell the difference between the shots on 800 and the shots on 1600. Now if only Tropicana Field can get lighting as well as RJS I can use 800 there as well.

Weakness:

i seldom do sports photography, but this time i choose fuji Xtra 800 for a shooting of a football game at a stadium. I use shutter speed of 1/250 and f5.6 at a 200mm zoom...the final result....well......it's too dark, maybe the light on the field was not enough for photographing at a mere 50 metres away from the field....But it's d*** sharp in details when shooting in daylight~!

Strength:

Fairly sharp
Inexpensive
Available almost everywhere

Weakness:

Too grainy for my taste, but that's what you get with 800 speed film.
Skin tones aren't very good, and the reds looked below average.

I had an average to below averge experience with this film. The speed was nice, the images were fairly sharp, but the color was disappointing to me. I shot it on an overcast day, and the darker areas almost seemed to have a greenish cast to them. I know this could be do to the processing, but I took it to the same lab that I always get great prints from. That aside, it was nice to get some action shots with a good depth of field. But I've gotten much more attractive shots from other Kodak and Fuji films at lower speeds.
