Strength:
It is suitable only for extreme cases of low light - like a campfire.
Weakness:
Extremely contrasty and grainy. Kodak 400 is a much better film...Use the 800 only if absolutely necessary. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Kodak 400. |

Strength:
I don't.
Weakness:
Grain, saturation, some lattitude problems. Like the 200 and 400 versions of Gold (not Royal Gold) this film has no reason for existance. Just get the NHG2-800 from Fuji instead. I can't think of any reason other than that this film is dirt cheap and NHG2 isn't. Customer Service Why bother. Similar Products Used: NHG 800. |

Strength:
I don't like it...
Weakness:
This film is very grainy and finicky. The exposure has to be very exact. Kind of ironic for a faster film that supposedly should have a bigger lattitude. Even Popular Photography (Aug or Sep 99) issue had the same findings (and numerours complaints about it, which prompted the review). I would not bother with this film. i dont really like it
Weakness:
can you say grainy took a bunch of rolls on vacation- big mistake, got most of the shots, but you could see the grain for sure (adds mood sometimes, but not intended)- should've gotten 400 and just be more careful, especially with a zoom P&S Similar Products Used: non max 800 |

This film did extremely well in poor lighting as you find in many indoor sports events.
Weakness:
Photos did appear grainy. Expected a little better quality with action shots than I received. Would not use again until I try some other brands. Similar Products Used: . |

Strength:
Good general purpose film when lighting might be an issue.
Weakness:
Prints are a little grainy, but its light range makes up for it. Doesn't seem to reproduce cool colors as accurately as Fuji. Not my first choice of film. I prefer Fuji Superia. But if I need an 800 speed film I get this one. Similar Products Used: Fuji Superia |
