Strength:
- can be pushed two stops without discernible effect
Weakness:
- somewhat pricey I've only used 4 rolls of this film, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. That said, I would like to emphasize the film's ability to be pushed one or two stops and seemingly be unaffected, both in terms of color rendition and grain. My overall impression is that this is the best slide film I've ever used. Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: - Ektachrome |

Strength:
shadow detail, shadow color fidelity, exposure latitude, resolution, overall color palette
Weakness:
wish it was 400 speed (ha!) I have just gotten my first rolls of Escalante Canyons shots on RDPIII from the processor and I am THRILLED! I love to shoot Utah's slickrock canyons but they are very difficult to expose: white-hot highlights and deep but detail-rich shadows. Expose for one and kiss the other goodbye. This film has done a much better job than any other I have used in getting usable detail in both highlights and shadows. RDPII did this fairly well but did not have natural-looking shadow color reproduction and just didn't "pop" like I expect. I can't wait to replace my stolen film backs and start shooting medium format with this stuff! Similar Products Used: Velvia, RDPII, Lumiere family, Kodachromes |

Strength:
very accurate, good latitude, sharpest film around, does not over-saturate
Weakness:
none This film is so perfect that reviewing it is made simple. I used a Nikkor 17-35 2.8 lens on an F-100. On the same trip, i used velvia, Provia and Provia F. While i like all these films far more than any of the Kodaks, the new Provia F is perfection. With Velvia, the oversaturation of colors can lead to a loss of detail and poor tonal ranges within the colors. I found the old Provia to give a very blue-purple bias to everything, even green grass on a sunny day. Provia F takes the good in both those films but has no bias towards any cast and is the sharpest film i ever used. Similar Products Used: almost every slide film on the market |

Strength:
VERY FINE GRAIN
Weakness:
NONE, THIS FILM RULES!!! This film is the best Slide film I have used besides Velvia. It renders colors exactly how they are without leaving the ruined blackened effect when shooting overcast days. You will not find a finer grained film than this. Try it and you will be hooked. Similar Products Used: Agfa RSX 50 II |

Strength:
Grain is not present. Even projected to 5 feet by seven feet, this film shows no grain or other defect.
Weakness:
Kodak doesn't market it. (It's only weakness is a reliance on fuji managers in the uSA) Awesome. More realistic than Velvia, and just as good in every other way. If you try this you will wish to make fun of Kodak's attempts to compete. Similar Products Used: Fuji Velvia, RDP 1, RDP II, RSP (1600) |

Strength:
Extremely fine grain; neutral realistic color; good handling of contrasy scene.
Weakness:
None This is nearly a perfect film. The color is neutral and life-like but not oversaturated. I was shooting a snow leopard in a zoo, that is sitting under shade and well camouflaged. I thought the final picture will look really boring and that there will be lots of ugly blue cast. I was total surprised that the pictures come back showing stunning details and beautiful imagery. This film is able to record exactly as your eyes see it!!! Similar Products Used: Provia 100, Elitechrome 200, etc |

Strength:
Extremely fine grain, smooth tones, can be pushed 2 stops with good results.
Weakness:
None This is one of the three slide films I consider "must stock" items, the other two being Velvia and T64. I never thought I'd use anything other than Velvia for daytime landscapes (since Royal Gold 25 was discontinued) but the new Provia F is IT. Similar Products Used: The "old" Provia |

Strength:
Fine grain, Great colour.
Weakness:
None I just got back the first roll and put slides in Projector. I almost falled from my chair. It meet all the description I read from Magazine. Extra fine grain, real, vivid meanwhile truthful color. It makes you realized that your lens is better than you thought; and your wife or girl friend more beautiful. Because of the extra fine grain, The image is more solid. The skin tone is great. Similar Products Used: Kodachrome 64, Ektachrome, Elite Chrome, Sensia 100, Sensia II 200, Velvia |
