Model Reviewed: Fuji PROVIA 100 (RDPII)

Strength:

This review is really for the NEW provia, RDP III, or Provia F. This film is a vast improvement over the old Provia. It is now up there coming close to the grain of Velvia while retaining a good color balance.

Weakness:

Only Finding it.

Hurray for Fuji. Provia F is worth every penny. Check it out!

Model Reviewed: Fuji PROVIA 100 (RDPII)

Strength:

Good sharpness and a good colour balance for outdoor photographing when "hunting" animals. Details in the shadows don't disappear in black as when using for example Velvia, the contrast is smother.

Weakness:

No.

Usually I push 100-speed films to EI 200 because animals don't want to be where the light is the best for a photographer, and because the morning and evening light is poor. This film works pushed +1 as nothing has happened, You can probably push this film several steps without disappointing result.

Also, Astia 100 is a similiar product but with a more balanced colour. Someone, please write some comments about Astia.

Customer Service

Fuji film produce very good product data sheets.
