Strength:

its 10bucks on ebay, can use as cheap off camera?

Weakness:

Strobe trigger voltage is way too high at way over 125 volts for digital cameras and can damage digital camera. No hint of high trigger voltage in description when most current flash have less than 6 volts. This is a serious matter where a cheap flash can seriously damage a costly digital camera.
