The NEW Metz 54MZ-3 sets an exciting new standard in compact, shoe mount flash technology, and is capable of supporting all the dedicated flash functions of over 275 camera models. The 54MZ-3 is simplicity at its best, with an easy-to-read LCD display, and provides photographers complete functional control with only two buttons and one thumb-wheel. With a remarkable Guide Number of 177 for ISO100/21 at 105mm, the 54MZ-3 hosts an impressive array of innovative features, including High-Speed Synchronization (HSS). When used with the new-generation of Metz SCA 3002 adapters, HSS provides flash synchronization at shutter speeds above X-synch. HSS literally opens up a whole new world of creative flash opportunity. The zoom system can also be calibrated to the focal length of the camera format -- meaning not only 35mm, but also APS, 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, and 6x9 formats.
