Strength:

Extremely powerful. Guide Numbers are probably 10 - 15 % higher than advertised.

Weakness:

None whatsoever.

This is a product for the working pro. It's simple to set up, and has quick recycle times (when in auto).

However, it is *heavy*. You'll feel every bit of that tonnage after the first 2 hours of work on location ... and I own 2!

My work is mostly wedding photography, and when auto-slaved, the 622s are the perfect suplemental lighting companion in those dim reception halls. When powerful on-location lighting is required, you can't do better.

Durable construction. (Ive dropped then onto hard linoleum floors with no damage.

Model Reviewed: 622 Super Pro Zoom Flash Outfit

Strength:

Hugely powerful, works via "dumb" interface with my P67 quite nicely, either in automagic mode or manual, and works like a charm with my N70 and the interface module, too. The price of the cord, however, is preposterious.

Weakness:

See D. Battery. C. D. Battery go dead. C. JJ Buy New Batteries. But I'm not surprised.

It's huge, it's not cheap, but it will FLASH when you need a *F*L*A*S*H*. The range with my F2.4 standard lens and NHG-2 800 on the P67 is astonishing, and the range with the N70 and 50/1.4 and the same film boggles the mind, or at least the mind of someone who carried the old graphlight around many years ago using pushed XXX at football games.

There is NO, repeat NO reason or rhyme for the price of the interface cords. Modules, yes. Cords, well, NO.

Customer Service

Their response to e-mail questions is flat-out incoherent, evne when asked very precise, specific questions.
