Strength:

Extremely accurate, loaded with capabilities. Relatively easy to use, convenient EV scale allows quick calc of relative illumination.

Bright easy to read display for an LCD device, Rugged (mine has survied many dings).

Weakness:

Not so ergonomic, gets uncomfotable to hold after long use. rather comples with all its features, and requires a little manual studying.

Top notch tools still valuable in didgital age

Strength:

Great versatility for both ambient and flash readings. It has both incident and relfective exposure values accessible. Programable, digital, for shutter, aperature, progam priority. Very accurate meter. Also will show lux/EV and can switch easily between shutter, aperature, lux/ev, and flash modes

Weakness:

Be willing to spend some time reading the manual. The more details it can do, the more complex the overall operations.

This is a very fine exposure meter for all around photography, including cinema. It's made by Gossen, and they have been doing this for many many years! Learn the ins and out of the meter settings and you have one heck of a meter!
