Strength:

Accuracy, versatility with 5 deg. spot.
Analogue and digital read-outs.
Excellent battery check function.

Weakness:

This is a well made meter but doesn't take knocks very well. It will break if you drop it. You need to carry a spare AA battery as battery life is quite short for a meter.

This is an exellent meter, there is no competition at any price. My one wish is for the same product with a "beefed up" construction. The design of this meter means that it is a bit delicate. I have needed one repair to date when I dropped on the studio floor. This meter lives in my gadget bag rather than in my pocket (where it should be) when out walking.

Strength:

Small, accurate. Nice carrying case that also stores the diffuser heads.
Works with natural light and flash too. Has auto-power off if you leave it on.
Light sensor rotates for taking shots in awkward locations.

Weakness:

Displays exposure in full f-stops. Display in half f-stops would be nice.

If you get a light meter, spend the few extra bucks and get one that can do flash metering too. I didn't need it then, but I'm sure glad I got it when I started doing portraits. An excellent meter.

Small size.
Light weight.
Simple operation.
Very rugged.
Very accurate.

Weakness:

Had mine for 8 years. Not the slightest problem.

Totaly simple and dependable light meter that fits in your pocket with an extra roll of film. It uses the same battery as my cameras (AA), so no special needs... Cool battery check feature can be used to find the rouge dead battery in your motor drive! Buy it.
