Strength:

(1) Because of the four flash tubes, the light is not to harsh even without a umbralla or soft box. (2) The price is very good, at this price per unit, you could even use this studio flash as a through away unit, althogh mine has been going strong for 10 years. (3) The unit is reletively light weight compaired to some monolights.(4) These units are a good choice for part time guys like me who do not make there living taking pictures but need professional studio lighting.

Weakness:

These unints are not built for heavy use.

The unit is very good overall for the price. The power is OK for a small studio. I use 35mm and 120 cameras. Even with an umbralla I can get f/11 or smaller when using 400 speed portrait film.

Customer Service

Have not used it, but I do not think it would be worth it to have them repaired unless it was somtihng very low cost. Other wise just buy a new unit.
