APO TC which mates well as advertised with Zuiko 300/4.5.

I bought this TC because eventually I will purchase the Zuiko 180/2 and 350/2.8. Reputedly delivers superb results with these lenses.

Model Reviewed: OM-Zuiko 1.4XA Teleconverter

Strength:

I have only used it for the 300/4.5 and it works very well and maintains sharpness and contrast. When compared with a Sigma 400/5.6 APO, the results were about the same. It also works well on my Tamron 400/4 and maintains better sharpness and contrast that the Tamron 1.4x converter.

Weakness:

None. Took me a couple of years to find one at a reasonable price.

Very sharp and useful. Too bad I don't have a 180/2, or 250/2 with which is works excellently.

Kenko 1.5 MM converter. (Note this is matched for 75 to 150 focal lengths and will vignette on the Zuiko 300/4.5)
