Strength:

very sharp len, also fast and very beatiful. firm to holding and focusing

Weakness:

sharp len in every stop, maybe more than seizz 21 if included price compare. no flare with straight light. for journalist and traveller who use contax camera, this's the best wide angle len that you must try!

Very Sharp Lens
Sharp at all F stops
Mine was made in West Germany

Weakness:

None

This is a great lens. Very sharp. Get the one made in WestGermany. It might cost more but it trully is a beautiful lens. Will upgrade the quality of your photos.

Very sharp and contrasty. Good edge to edge sharpness

A very sharp Zeiss lens.

Strength:

It's an older design, but I find it delivers very sharp pictures. It's a lot less expensive than the new 21. I have the AE version.

Weakness:

Some internal haze from the previous owner, but even with that, the pictures were superb.

Good lens, available at a lower price than the new 21mm, and capable of excellent performance. The AE version I have is available at an even better price on the used market.
