    Strength:

Prize! This one is just a budget-prized Leica lens. KM mount is fully compatible with Leica. Comes usually with a nice, vented hood that can be turned to see through the vents.

    Weakness:

Paint on barrel may wear easily... but then, it shows character. A slightly disturbing thing is that on a Leica camera, the rangefinder patch doesn't coincide at infinite distance probably because the focus throw is slightly shorter than the Leica's. However, landscape shots done at f8, focusing at infinity have turned out sharp as ever. Vented hood can be a problem as it tends to get stuck to certain filters (hence, I use only a B&W UV filter). However, these are the things I've learned to live with. Considering the price and performance, this lens is a treat!!

I was desperately looking for a wide-angle to complement my Leica setup, and had heard of the Konica lenses only. When a photographer offered to sell me his, I jumped at the chance as it is, virtually, identical to the 'cron 35/2 (except for the size of the front element). Ever since I bought it, it's stayed on my M6TTL. Best, brightest, painfully sharp and easy to use (focusing is a breeze thanks to the lever). I've had this lens for almost a year and forgot completely about getting any Leica glass.

    Strength:

    Sharp images and well built.

Very pleased with this lens! I've used it on the Hexar RF and a Leica M4-P with outstanding results. It is hard to find, but well worth the effort.

    Strength:

Excellent build quality. Conveniant focusing handle. Perfect focal length for the Hexar RF view finder.

    Weakness:

The lens hood screw into the lens making it impossible to put the lens cap. Hard to find!

This lens is an excellent performer. It give much better results than my Canon 35mm lens.
