    Strength:

Very high contrast, extremely sharp. Very rugged. can be used wide open if not shifting.

    Weakness:

A little more distortion than I''d like when shifting. Need to stop down a lot for corner sharpness when shifting.

I use this lens all the time for architectural shots. I even dropped it once because i hadnt mounted it properly on my camera. The shift button was replaced and it worked like new, but only after I refused the first repair job.

    Customer Service

After I dropped this lens and had it repaired, the lens wasnt reassembled correctly (the image was blurry on the edges) and had to send it back and get recalibrated (free). Now it''s as good as new

    Strength:

All metal, very good glass, smooth operation. Use of this lens demands patience and a solid Bogan 3033 tripod (or equal)to begin to see what this lens can produce.

    Weakness:

    None as a "technical" lens.

This lens rounds out my "technical" lens set for image quality, minimal light fall-off and the shift capability. The images I have produced of office buildings and residences, both interiors and exteriors have been of high quality using Fuji Reala or Fuji Provia films.I use this lens as a regular "28" with very good results.
