Strength:

One of my sharpest lens and is responsible for the best 11x14s and 16x20s on my wall.

Weakness:

None. It is a bit dim but you generally have to stop down macro work anyway.

A great lens for a bargain price.

Model Reviewed: OM-Zuiko 50mm f3.5 Macro

Strength:

Very very sharp with excellent contrast

Weakness:

On the slow side so low light shooting is a real draw back.

This is an outstanding lens with outstanding sharpness and contrast. These lenses run fairly cheap when compared to the other Zuiko Macro's
(90mm/f2) of course there is a big lens speed difference as well. Go get yourself one of these little jewels, you will not be sorry unless you need extra lens speed for indoor shooting.

Strength:

Extremely sharp and contrasty with good color rendition. _No_ distortion, very good for reproduction work. Compact, rugged and affordable

Weakness:

A very versatile lens, great quality. If I need to take the sharpest pictures possible, I use this lense with Velvia (OK, I don't own a 90 F2 or a 50 F2).

very small, light, sharp,edges ++++

Weakness:

never failed in >>20 years

I prefer a 50macro over a 90acro.
You do not need a tripod, use your left hand to fix the lens to the subject.
