Strength:

Signature Olympus glass with signature contrast, resolving power and good CA control with MC(ever so slight purple fringing in strong day light. none in blue light). Solid build and lighter than average optic for its class. If one is using this optic with digital equipment , I highly recommend combining with 20+Mp to really see what this optic can resolve.

Weakness:

Slower manual rack and pinion focusing not easily mastered for moving subjects...not impossible , just takes practice!

A wonderful tool if you are looking for a long tele for still subjects that will not run from you! A precision multicoated optic that in my opinion will do an exemplary job on bringing out the detail where you will need it.
Mine came with a Lowepro 600 AW that fit the optic perfectly with camera attached.

Customer Service

Strength:

The second hand price I paid was very low for a 600mm lens.
The image quality was good without being outstanding, no noticeable chromatic aberration. High contrast.

Weakness:

The focusing is rather clumsy (on rails).
I had to have mine repaired.

Dont buy this one new, it's far too expensive and the focussing is not practical, but for a second hand deal it's great value.

Customer Service

I managed to have mine repaired without any problem.
