Designed as a quick-focusing macro lens the AF speed of 50mm, f/2.8 EX Macro is 1.4 times faster than previous 50mm f/2.8 macros. It features a non-rotating front lens group which makes it easier to work with polarizing filters and has a focus limiter.

Strength:

1. Very sharp
2. Excellent Macro lens.
3. well balanced color and contrasty.
4. vividly reproducing images

Weakness:

1. Too close to object in order take macro photo.
2. Not better than Minolta for infinity object.

1. This one reproduce macro object very well and
incredibly sharp for taking photo near distance
object. we balanced lens but uncomfortable sparkling finish.

Strength:

This is a nicely affordable macro lens.

Weakness:

The working distance of a 50mm macro is pretty short, and this one's contrast isn't the highest.

This is probably the cheapest way to get really convenient macro capability. If you really want to get into macro, though, a longer lens is much easier to work with. Nikon makes some of the best.
