Can't abuse it This is a wonderful lens, it delivers sharp and contrasty pictures. I also have the 28-105 and prefer the 28-80 for one simple reason- weight! The 28-105 is twice as heavy and to me unless you will be making huge enlargements it isn't worth it to lug around the heavier lens. I hardly ever get flare from this lens either. However, do not abuse this lens and expect it to hold up! I dropped mine on the carpet from about 1 ft. and I had to twist the barrel very hard to get the barrel unlocked. It is still working perfectly though. Would recommend. Customer Service Never needed Similar Products Used: Minolta 28-105 |
