Strength:

Performance and size. Great in focus and out, sharp and colorful, all in a lens just a bit larger than the 50 prime.

Weakness:

Not a close-focusing lens (not bad, but no 1:4 reproduction).
The FL range doesn't quite cover my most frequent shots.

This lens was a fine catch, brand new in box - even though it could have been found used for a lot less. The size and weight are ideal for all-day use, and the 52-155 APS-C effective FL covers normal to mid-tele. Colors are bright and bokeh is very good. Images are crisp, it's my sharpest lens now along with the Minolta 50/1.7. It makes my Tamron 28-200 nearly irrelevant.
