Great build quality. Uses the same hood as the 28mm f1.4.
Weakness:
None Purchasesd this lens used 5 years ago with landscapes in mind and for this purpose it is wonderful. Sharp images from center to corner. Wonderful with my F3 HP although the image through the viewfinder can be a bit dark. It''s a fixed f4 so no wonder. I also have a 20-35 f2.8 which is great for PJ use but the 25-50mm is my choice for landscapes.Use the hood! These are not a particularly common lens but on occasion they do show up on the used market. Check out KEH.com.Specify the ais version. I''ve been very pleased with this lens.
