Lightfall-off on 24 mm

Having used the old 24-120AF and two samples of the 24-120 ED VR with variable aparture, I was more than excited when Nikon announced this new optical instrument. It it superior to its predecessors in every aspect. Higher build quality with weathersealing, constant f4 through the hole zoomrange, higly efficiant VRII and Nano-coating. Opticalt redesigned it all sums up in high picture quality from f4 through the hole zoomrange. Stopping down results in better corner sharness and less light fall-off like in every other lens - but best off all - You don´t have to ! Sharnes, contrast and colorrendition is excellent and it is allmost impossible to provoke ghosts and flare. Distortion and light fall-off are both correctable issues. Besides that this, there is no alternative to this lens if You want 5X zooming including the extremes 24 mm and 120 mm.
I have used the lens in many situations, and I am very satisfied with its overall performance.
