Expensive This is an expensive filter. If you can only afford one, get the 3X hard. The 3X hard is the most versatile and useful. I love the ability to take a photo directly into the sun without much worry about these filters flaring. They're very high quality, and Singh-Ray loves to talk to you about your questions to help you make a decision. I use them whenever I can and I'm ALWAYS pleased with the results. They come in a seriously good casing for a filter. You don't want to scratch these filters and the case emphasizes that. Customer Service Fantastic! Truly Neutral, no "greyish" tinge added.
Weakness:
Expensive and delicate Started with a 2 soft and a 3 hard and now have a complete set. Used with care (Stop your lens down to see the exact graduation) the are almost completely unnoticed which is what they're all about. Customer Service SUPERB, you can talk to "The Man" himself.
