Strength:

Unbelievable with water scenes, blue skies, or cloudy days and the sky just turns so deep blue with this filter. Does really interesting things on overcast days w/water. If the condition is right, you can turn it to have the shot have a sort of Sepia look to it as well.

Weakness:

Pretty much only useful for scenery shots. If you don't do landscapes, or live in a big city this filter will probably not be all that useful.

Harly ever use my regular Singh-Ray Warming polarizer anymore, this one is that good. I've had this filter for over 2 years now and over and over again I only like photos taken with it. The blue blue skies and deep blue waters can not be understated when using this filter, especially skies with clouds. I'm thinking of purchasing another for my telephoto, I hate having to unscrew it off each lens I use and screw it into another.

Customer Service

Outstanding. I called up Singh-Ray and was transferred to Bob Singh, the owner within a couple minutes. My particular one had a serious issue rotating and I've never had a problem with Singh-Ray filters before. I could only rotate it a little either way and then it would get very difficult very fast. He apologized and wanted me to ship it down for repairs and he'll take care of it immediately. He felt that the ring may have gotten warped during shipping because it would never have left his shop otherwise. I was going to, but I noticed slowly that it would get easier and easier to rotate and now there's no problem. But, his assistance and readiness to help has me sold!
