Strength:

Nice, smooth rotating action, no "play" between the two rings (a.k.a. "Oreo cookie effect"). Quality glass, that is decently priced.

Weakness:

Old two-ring design was terrible. Tons of "play" between the two rings. Quite wobbly. They have fixed that problem though (see customer service).

Nice, attractive little (hard) Grad filter. I've always liked Tiffen filters because they make a quality product at a fairly reasonble price. If it's good enough for the motion-picture industry and Hollywood, it's good enough for you.

Customer Service

One word: OUTSTANDING! Recieved a defective ND.6 Grad filter from B&H quite some time ago. They were using the old two-ring design then. The front rotating ring was so loose, I thought it would eventually fall off. Returned it to (Ira) Tiffen along with a polite but angry letter. He sent the filter back to me in a new two-ring mount, along with a letter of apology. It works just great now. My sincerest thanks to him. Also, I have dealt with Tiffen's customer service department many times in the past regarding technical information, availability, brochures, etc. They (Harry and Susan) have been nothing but extremely polite and helpful. ALWAYS. Tiffen runs a first-class/quality organization, and it shows. My thanks to them too.

Many Tiffen and B+W filters. Too many to list.
