Strength:

Extremely sharp across the field. Very compact and lightweight. The designation as a copy lens is strictly academic;don't hesitate to use this at infinity. Schneider's specs are very conservative regarding image circle. I use this lens for both 4x5 and 5x7 work. In 4x5 it's impossible to run out of image on my Wista and I can barely get to the edges with my old 5x7 Korona. Check Wisner's site for more on the G-Clarons.

Weakness:

F/9 is, of course, on the slow side but is more than compensated for by the tiny size. The filter size on the 150 is 35.5mm; a little weird but you can get adapters and filters from BW.

Outstanding performer and terrific value.

Lots of LF lenses from Schneider, Nikon, Osaka, Fuji, Kodak & oerz. I also use 240 and 305 G-Clarons.
