Strength:

Imaging circle is wider than my Wista 45's accordion bellows can handle.

Haven't experienced enough falloff to justify a center filter

Extremely sharp.

Very little distortion.

Weakness:

I need to get a recessed lens board and/or a bag bellows to fully utilize this lens.

My older model is single coated. Lens flare's an issue in colour photographs.

I've never shot pictures this sharp before. I have a single coated 1972 model with a Copal 0 shutter.

This is a "clone" of the Zeiss Biogon which is an excellent lens design.

Customer Service

bught a used 1972 lens so there is none.

Strength:

Absolutely excellent glass. Sharp, crisp images. Huge image circle. You can swing these little jewels so far that when you see a round image entering from the side it's probably your ear! Copal shutter is easy to operate, quiet.

Weakness:

The lens is prone to a little light fall off toward the edges. B+W filters sell a center spot filter for these, but cost about $400.00 Almost the price of a used lens.

I really love this lens, Inside, or outdoors I have had nothing but fun with it. Screw a color enhancer on the front and shoot some Fuji transparencies, and you will be hooked too.

Customer Service
