Strength:

A very desirable focal length for modeling and sports. If you use it with the Mamiya 2X, with 400ASA film on a bright day, it's just tolerable to use and will produce some nice compressed images with blurred backgrounds.

Weakness:

Big difference b/w the regular version and the ULD version both image-wise and cost-wise.

This lens performs well. It's a tad slow at F5.6, so focusing has to be done carefully and shutter speeds will be also slow for hand holding, so be prepared to use a monopod with this setup. The ULD version of this lens can be pricey, but if you make a living with cameras, eventually you need to invest in the ULD. It's about 10-20% sharper than the non-ULD lens and the contrast is better.

Customer Service

Never any problems. Repairs and adjustments handled professionally with quick turnaround.

Strength:

Superb image quality; compact;

Weakness:

poor speed of f/5.6

The telephoto lens with the best image quality for M645; If you look for a used one, refer to the ULD-lens! The former non-ULD-lens will result in less image quality!
