Strength:

Super sharp at mid distances, focal length is ideal for head/shoulders and children.
Able to get close in which is why I sold Pentax 67 system with 165 mm.

Weakness:

Weight of lens throws camera offbalance when handheld. Difficult to hold in RZ Pro II with bellows extended which is required for closeups. Used at wedding which precluded use of tripod.

Extremely sharp, crisp slides when able to focus precisely. Used Kodak professional slide film (E100s). I think this lense slightly edged out my previous Pentax 165 mm lens for resolution but gives away speed. This will probably be the next lense I buy for my system. May try the 150 mm for speed and shorter length before making final decision. I don't mine the weight of the RZ Pro II with a 90 mm lens, but this lens made the camera very front heavy. I did not have time to use this on tripod with lense stopped down, I have no doubt this would produce extremely sharp slides for landscapes.
I give this lense 5 stars for resolution and rich color while at the lower end of the RZ lense price range. The weight comes with the territory!
