Strength:

- sharp and contrasty - relatively light weight. - f2.8

Weakness:

- screw-in hood

This is probably one of the most popular manual focus lens in Pentax 645 lineup. The lens is fast, very sharp, and contrasty, which is typical to Pentax 645 lenses. The only complaint is the lens hood. It does not come with the lens and the original Pentax one is hard to find (even though someone told me it's a cheap plastic screw-in one, I always want to get the OEM one). I used a cheap third-party one and it works well. 67mm filter may not be the most pouplar size. However, my third-party hood accept 72mm filter and it solves my problem since I have some 72mm filters already.
