    Strength:

Wireless technology is faultless and Lexmark offers excellent quality at a reasonable cost. Excellent support is provided. HP's service is poor and their printers have a lot of driver issues with Windows Vista and other loaded printers. | www.flashpartyphotobooth.com/austin

    Weakness:

Ink replacement message prevents you from actually printing.

This printer prints fine, but the printer has a programming issue. If any of your ink is low IT WILL NOT PRINT!. My husband and I are packing for a plane trip home and we need to print out our boarding passes. We just replaced the black ink so I know we should be good to go for our early am flight. However, we are low on magenta and the printer will not even give us the option of printing. I set it to black and white, but still it won't let us print. You have to REPLACE the LOW (not empty) ink before you can proceed. It's almost 10 o'clock at night and I am not about to rush out to the store to buy pink ink so I can print a black and white boarding pass. Never again will we own or use an Epson. Forget brand loyalty - we've now got Epson brand avoidance!

Poor quality construction, when it prints is prints sloooooowly, poor user interface

I used to really believe in the quality of Epson printers. They provided quick, good quality prints at an affordable price. Not anymore. I bought this for my parents in January and it never worked properly. Wouldn't turn off, computer would scan but not print, had to continually unplug the machine and restart it. Epson's concept of printing contact sheets and photos without a computer is the WORST idea ever. Process is cumbersome, tedious, wastes ink and paper, and basically doesn't work. I sent it back to Epson under warranty and they had the audacity to replace the new CX5800F with a refurb CX5800F. After 2 hours with tech support, the refurb would finally print. Next time I'm buying Canon.

    Customer Service

Epson sent out a refurbished 5800F to replace the first defective one. I was unhappy becuase I paid for a new printer (that works) and I received a refurbished printer. Customer service not helpful.
