    Strength:

Light, holds heavy loads in any position.

    Weakness:

Ball moves slightly when locking down.

Great lightweight ballhead. Does a great job holding heavy loads at any angle. Minimal controls is a plus. Seperate pan base is nice to have for panoramics. Mine moves ever so slightly when locking the ball, a minor annoyance. Once locked however, the ball does not move. A great lightweight choice for hikers, combine it with a Gitzo g1128 for a 3.5lb setup.

What an incredible piece of gear!! Incredibly lightweight yet holds a high-end digital camera with a long telephoto with ZERO drift. You lock it - it stays! The controls are smooth, the function is simple - I liked the first one so much I bought a second one!
