Piece of junk! I used this for less than 3 months and now I can't tighten it any more. It's also oozing lubricants from the base and the hole where the tightening screw goes. Weight rating on this ballead is 8.8 lbs. I think that's over specified because it can't handle half the weight that I put on my Bogen 3262QR. Maybe good for flashes. Not worth the money I spent on it.

This small ballhead sits unobtrusively atop my Gitzo 01. Its single knurled knob is easy to operate and it adds little to the carrying weight of my tripod. Just don't expect to smoothly pan along with a flying eagle.
