Strength:

Very solid but not heavy. Accepts Arca-Swiss type plates for quick and secure mounting. Good price for a ball head and includes one basic mounting plate.

Weakness:

Was on backorder when I ordered mine so I waited a couple of weeks for it.

I bought it because it was highly recommended by top pros. I see why! Never had a problem with it. Well built and durable, ad easy to use.

Customer Service

Not the greatest in the world, but now that I''ve got it I don''t expect to need much help!

Strength:

AS mount, not as heavy (as my previous heads), holds my equipments rock solid.

Weakness:

none so far.

A very good buy with the price. Very strudy yet not very heavy. I use the RRS QR plates that is compatible with the AS mount. Panning and positioning are very smooth. Tension control is a breeze!

Strength:

Great build quality, very smooth action separate control for ball tension

Weakness:

Average order entry process

There is not much you can say about a ball head. The build quality is excellent and it has a smooth action throughout the range of motion. It accepts Arca plates and does not suffer from the infamous ballhead lockup that AS does. I good buy for the price which includes a basic plate for your camerabody

I bought this ball head for a 5 week backpacking trip in the Brooks Range of Alaska. It held up to wetness, freezing, mud, sand, and all sorts of abuse. I have a tendency to break gear, but was impressed with ballhead.
