Strength:

Holds your 35mm camera in a very solid grip. Easy to unlock and lock. Fairly lightweight. I use it on Bogen legs, mostly with a T90 with wide angle and it holds my stuff rock steady. Cheap compared to many competing products (and you can find it a lot cheaper than I bought it for :-).

Weakness:

Will not hold your supertelephoto equipment. Could work for medium format, but I doubt it would be steady enough for large format. Quicklock system could be a bit better. Sometimes tricky to get it on or off.

Good ballhead for a good price

Model Reviewed: 3026 Double Action Ball Head

Strength:

Light and secure with a small camera lens combination. I use it with a monopod and it is the perfect combination.

Weakness:

Doesn't support long heacy telephoteo lenses too well.

Buy it for your monopod or your tripod if you will be lugging it around all day. Light, sturdy and easy to use. I bought mine at camera world for $33, which I thought was an excellent deal.
