lowepro says that the bag holds a surprising amount of gear and they arent kidding. i had been looking on ebay for a week or so for a decent deal on a camera bag and i had read reviews that this bag was on the small side and all that, so in addition to looking for this bag, Arlington Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair Weakness:

what weaknesses theres such a thing with this product? This Tripod works well with the 3047 bogen head. i find that its very quiet when im changing angles while recording a play with my Canon Elura 70. i have had no problems with it so far. Customer Service who needs costomer service when you have one of the most self explanitory tripods ever? yea never used Similar Products Used: a little plastic "toy" from wal*mart |

Quick setup Rock solid Panorama shots stitch together very well.
Weakness:
None yet. I like to do multi-shot panoramas, and wanted a setup that was sturdy, not too big and heavy, and would let me get set up quickly and accurately. All of the heads I've seen have the pan mechanism below the tilt mechanism. If you want to shoot a panorama, the panning motion has to be absolutely level. This means you have to use the legs to level the pan base first, then level the head. Ick. It occured to me that if you could mount a ballhead upside-down and mount a QR plate on top, you could use the ball to quickly level the QR plate and the ball's pan base would let you shoot all the panorama shots you wanted. I have the following, in top-to-bottom order: 625 hexagonal QR plate 488 midi ballhead (upside-down) 3154 "joint for arms" 3001BD legs ----------- $248 total I had to cut a 3/8-16 bolt to attach the QR plate to the bottom of the ballhead, as both have female threads, but the whole thing went together very easily. I shot a 360 panorama of my office in no time flat. I'm 6'1" and this tripod is the perfect height when the center column is extended 1/2 way. Customer Service Not needed. Light weight Sturdy Compact Goes Flat
Weakness:
Not pro quality: -needs to be taller -sturdier if using big lenses -need to make the triagle 3/8" head base metal, not plastic. -Little knobs are hard to use when you have gloves on. First off I own the 3001D which is different than the one pictured. The tripod is great if you are travelling, because it is compact and lightweight yet still does the job. The nice thing about Bogens now is that they make them go flat to the ground, it's about time Bogen! One draw back is the height of the tripod, only about 50" and 60" with the center post. Sturdiness, steadiness, reasonable price, versatility.
Weakness:
Slightly low extended, small leg knobs (mine's an older example - they're better now). This is a good, tough, reasonably-priced tripod. As supplied to me with a 141RC head, it was a little bulky and heavy, but now with the 460Mg head, it's brilliant. It has stood use very well and still looks almost new (I use a tripod bag at all times, which carries a cable release and spare QR plates). It's a little short extended, but has a good low-level capability. It is my most used of five tripods. Customer Service None required Similar Products Used: Manfrotto and Velbon tripods |

Size weight Sooooo sturdy You can feel the quality reliable Don't think it'll break, ever.
Weakness:
the knobs are pain to use. You have to unscrew and screw 6 knobs to use and to close down. The newer 3001's have better system, but now Bogen doesn't make any shorter ones. They really should. Bogen quality in the smallest package. I was looking for the smallest and sturdy tripod and had found out this model had just been discontinued a couple years ago. So, I tried to spot one all over the place and B&H had some though not many. I'm a happy shooter since then. Very easy to carry around since it's much smaller than regular 3001's. If you can find one, this is the one for travel. It can cover most applications with 35mm photography. Customer Service Haven't had it yet. Don't expect it. Strength:
light and strong aside from my 3221, this is the best tripod i've ever used for travel. it's light and quick enough to carry around all day without getting tired of it. there are others that are slighty lighter (excluding carbon fiber) and cheaper, but not nearly as solid as this fine piece of equipment. |

If you wanna buy a tripod which is well balanced, heavy enough yet still light, will outlast your other gears, easy of use, has tank-like Q-release at a reasonable price, look no further!!! 3001 pro is the answer.
