    Strength:

Tiny, featherweight, infinitely adaptable, this little gorillapod will allow you to use any imaginable object or surface as a mount for your point-and-shoot. I have used it on car roofs, fence rails, tree limbs, handlebars and rafters. Weighs about as much as an energy bar and fits into a cyclist's jersey pocket almost as easily. I will share this to Concrete driveways Tauranga team.

    Strength:

This is a very well made ball head. You are not paying the premium for the Arca, or other higher end ball heads. Nust found this after searching lawn care specialists near me. Going back, it gives me the confidence to be able to walk away from the tripod and not worry that my lens will crash to the ground. It is very well made.

    Weakness:

The only drawback to me is this beastie is heavy at around 5 pounds.

    Strength:

I use this with both 35mm and digital available light photos in a studio. Long exposures are made simple by using a cable release or my camera self timer. This tripod can't be beat for lengthy exposures with its stability. Excellent geared column. Oakland Park Towing Company

    Strength:

Solid tripod, fits into tight spaces and uneven terrain. Reasonable weight for backpacking and hiking.

    Weakness:

Leg locks are a screw type and do not always tighten properly without a lot of force. You might think it is locked, but adding weight quickly indicates that it is not. A quick release spring type lock might be faster and more secure. One of the leg angle clips broke in cold weather (Alaska in January), so now it has one leg that is very unstable.

A good tripod for medium use. Heavy hiking and camping in all weather brings out the weak points.

    Strength:

good strong tripod in medium size. have used 4x5 on it with 3030 head

    Weakness:

not quite tall enough without using post

this is pretty good for the money. but if you do any pro work you want to go for the next larger size. for occasional use, I have a $20 Velban that is great for travel- just put the camera on self timer and hands off to let the vibrations settle

had to replace a leg. parts price was fair, service quick, repair not too difficult

    Strength:

    1) Solid construction
    2) Two (or is it three) position legs are nice
    3) Long stem is nice
    4) Not overly heavy (but not light, either)
    5) Well thought out overall

    Weakness:

It's a little heavy, but waddya' want!?!?

Very nice tripod for the price and intended purpose. Definitely sufficient for most 35mm and camcorder work with most any conveivable mix of reasonable/common lenses and accessories. Of course there's always something better, but the price is right and with a good head on it, it's a great tripod.

    Strength:

    Smooth, Strong, Durable.

    Weakness:

Too short, the tensioning knobs are not as nice as other bogen designs.

This is a nice package. I've had it for 7 years and it has proven to be very durable, fairly stable, and reliable. My only quibles are that it's too short and the release knobs are not as nice as the lever designs. The height is OK when shooting horizontally but shooting vertically leaves me crouching(I'm 6'). There have been many times where I really needed a few more inches of height. Also after tightening, you can't tell if the legs are really secure by looking at the knobs so you set up only to find one leg is slipping. I would buy a different tripod if I had to do it over but I'm fairly satisfied with the 3205.

    Strength:

Solid & Stable for a medium sized SLR system. ElanIIE or N80 + Medium speed super tele, Like a 400 f5.6 or 300 f4 (anything bigger would require the 3221G)

Very articulate and can be put in any position desired.

    Tough as nails.

    Ligthweight in the field.

    Weakness:

The flip-lock levers when tight, are difficult to use, especially when shooting for 6 hours at a time. But it can be adjusted.

inverting the center column makes shooting awkward, especially for small skittish critters.

ower Minimum height, that is a godsend for macro work or for 'down & dirty' wildlife shooting. The adjustable spiked ends hold up well on soft soil or when set up in a creek.

This tripod is extremely versatile, it can be put in any position imaginable. I spent two days shooting in the slot canyons, where in some spots it is extremely tight, (VERY TIGHT indeed) and the tracker came through with shining colors.

The only thing I would change is the minimum height. I want to go even lower, I might just have Kirk Modify it to lay nearly flat on the ground.

If most of your shooting is in the field and in difficult terrain, then this is the best option for you.

Sturdy, well made. Legs extend out approx. 90 degrees

    Weakness:

Good starter tripod. Purchased for my son. Very sturdy and extra column length is handy. Legs extend out at approximately a 90 degree angle to help situate the tripod in difficult shooting locations. Feels almost as sturdy as the 3221, but about two pounds lighter.
