Strength:
Cheap, light, easily transported. Good value if on a budget.
Weakness:
Some slippage - particularly vertical orientation with my bigger lenses. For basic, no-frills tripodery with a light to moderate weight camera, this is a fine value. I feel I got lucky when I bought it, I knew nothing of other tripod manufacturers, but $50 was about all I could part with and for the five years I've owned it, I haven't been sorry.
