Cheap, simple to use, one bubble level in the shoe, one on the top of the legs, reasonably compact when collapsed and gets to a comfortable height.

Great for still photos.

The extra shoe is a plus, though I did lose it, but it was nice while I had it.

Panning isn't smooth, not great for video.

It pinches! Watch your hands when opening it and spreading the legs. Up at the top of the legs is where it gets me. I've got a nice mark on my finger from when I was overly excited to take some lightning shots a couple nights ago.

Overall good tripod for the price, excellent for still photography but not the best for videography if you're going to be panning. Watch your fingers though, this guy pinches hard.

I use it with my compact digital (Canon Powershot A Series), I've also used it with my compact DV camera and my 20+ year old Canon AE1 SLR. I trust it to hold my AE1 with a 200mm telephoto, no problem, or my Powershot with conversion lenses no worries at all.

Quick release shoe with a turnkey thing is a great upgrade over the screw type quick release of the 20+ year old tripod it replaced.
