Strength:

Quality, flip-locks on legs, light weight, compactness (4-leg extension), good height when set up, optional PH-157Q quick-release head.

Weakness:

For architectural photography: lack of bubble, the distraction of multiple leg-angle options, and more height when set up.

A simply excellent tripod put through the acid test of a month's travel with hundreds of set-ups, without a hitch.

Model Reviewed: Chaser EFL-4 Tripod

Strength:

Light weight yet sturdy
The leg locks are convenient.

Weakness:

I don't like the small thread for mounting a head. I like to use Bogen heads and have to use an adapter to make the Bogen heads fit on the small threaad. This prevents the head from being completly tight on the center post, leaving it to sometimes loosen up.

Nice tripod but the problem with the mounting screw bothers me.
