Velbons 830 & 840 series of carbon fiber tripods are aimed squarely at the working professional who employs large format & heavier medium format cameras. These truly world-class offerings have quite possibly the greatest leg locks created, offering the small amount of movement needed(versus flip levers) without the annoying unwanted rotations or order of operations traditionally associated with twist locks. Both the 830 & 840 have 3-positions of leg spread for normal, semi-low and full-low angle shooting. The head platforms have reversible mounting studs for either 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 head mounts. The legs feature a maximum 36mm diameter tube of cross-layered carbon fiber material.
