Strength:

very good video, in low light and green waters.

Weakness:

I was unable to find reviews on this camera, I went on the reputation of SeaLife. I also had problems with overexposure at times, pictures or video can not be down loaded on Window's Vista with out getting outside program, which can be found on line.

The DC500 worked very well the first dives , Dec. 2007 . After I cought the release on a rock and flooded the camera I sent it in for repair( a replacement inner camera). I receiving the replacement in a resonable time, I had problems with over exposure. I thought it was me until contacting by phone Pioneer(e-mails went unanswered) and finding the inner camera on the DC500 has a knowen problem with the over exposure when using the external flash. Buy this time the warrenty had ran out. We will see if Sealife can help me. I've bought the whole package. DBL flash, hard case, wide agle lens, extra batteries, Charger. Sealife nolonger has replacement camera's.
