from www.memora.com Summary: A new twist on an old concept that is perfect for the voracious digital photographer, Memora Photo basically lets you serve your photographs from your own PC.
I installed the trial version of this product after a photographer friend invited me to some pics from his Macintosh. It requires a broadband connection (I have Earthlink DSL). The big plus is that there is no easier way to share lots of pictures at once. All of the process is as simple as right-clicking the directory and selecting the Photo Album function. The program then makes webpages and allows me to send a URL which is required for my guests to see the photos.
If youve got broadband, dont mind leaving your computer on and hate the time it takes to get photos on shutterfly (or dont want to pay for photopoint storage) this is the way to go. Strengths: * one-click sharing of any folder of photos and video
* URL-protected content not open to everyone Weaknesses: * interface a bit too minimalist
* not enough photo editing options
* you have to leave your PC on all the time. Similar Products Used: PhotoPoint
