Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK! This is a fine product if you don't need any output. Editing is easy, intuitive, and powerful. BUT, the software is so buggy and problematic that it becomes useless when trying to make a tape. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Strengths:
Nice editor. Easy to use.

Weaknesses:
Will not output final program.

Similar Products Used:
many

Customer Service:
No help at all. They do not listen. They do not have any answers. They blame all other companies but theirs.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $150.00 from Henry''s

Summary:
I researched in depth the various softwares available on the market and found that the best value was without a doubt the Pinnacle software. I am very happy with this software so far. It is easy to use and easy to learn. I have been editing my home movies and have had rave reviews from my audiences. Much of the credit due to the software really. It offers flexibility and many choices. I am still learning some of the features and I have run into some confusing situations but for the time being I''ll attribute that to the learning curve... Overall this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to use and professional quality video editing software.

Strengths:
Visually well laid out. Self explanatory. Loads resonably quickly. Instant gratification. Relatively easy to use. Professional looking results with little effort.

Weaknesses:
Still not sure if my problems are software or operator related....

Customer Service:
Disapointing. I''ve only had one experience with them and it was not a pleasant one, unfortunately. My experience really took away from the perception I had of the company. I called in to ask a questi

Price Paid:  $96.00 from Sim Lim Square, Sing

Summary:
All you need for home video editing. DV card, cable and software all included.

Strengths:
Does everything I need for video DV editing. Titles, fades, wipes, audio dubbing and mastering. Program is quick to load (unlike Premier) and extremely easy to use. Unless you are creating digital special effects in your own version of Star Wars, this program offers far more than 95% of home users would need.

Similar Products Used:
Adobe Premier - clearly a very good professional program, but in my opinion, not immediately intuitive and way too much overhead for home use. I could boil the kettle waiting for it to load. Why bothe
