Good news for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop users and great news for Nikon 1 mirrorless system camera early adopters – Adobe has updated Lightroom 3 and Camera Raw! Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.6 and Adobe Camera Raw 6.6 “Release Candidate” updates are now available for download. “Release Candidate” means the software is mostly tested and Adobe is very confident but wants users to test it out before they roll out an official update. The Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw updates add support for 5 new cameras, including the new Nikon J1 and V1, as well as new lens profiles for over 25 lenses from Sigma, Canon, Nikon, Mamiya and more. The updates also fix some bugs in both Camera Raw and Lightroom.
