2008 PMA Tradeshow
The annual Photo Marketing Association tradeshow starts next week. PMA is the biggest camera and photography tradeshow in North America and takes place every spring. Last year there were nearly 700 exhibitors and over 20,000 attendees. It’s in Las Vegas again this year so camera company execs, PR and marketing folks, and camera shop owners and employees can get out of the office and party in Vegas for a few days.

Besides the standard gambling and other Las Vegas debauchery, there will be tons of new digital cameras and other photography equipment to see and play with. Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Kodak, Pentax, Sony, Panasonic, Casio, and Samsung will introduce new cameras at PMA. And Epson, HP, Tokina, Sigma, Adobe, Tamron, Lexar, Bogen, Photoflex, and others will also be there with new printers, lenses, lighting, and other cool photo products they want to show the world for the first time. PhotographyREVIEW.com will bring it all to you with daily photos, videos, and articles on new cameras, accessories and photo trends for 2008.

A dedicated PMA section will be available in a few days. In the meantime, check the Camera & Photography News page for new camera and photo gear announcements. And take a look at the 2007 PMA coverage to get an idea of what to expect this year.
