2010 PMA Tradeshow Video TourThis is a fun “tour” video I made at the 2010 PMA camera and photography tradeshow in the Anaheim Convention Center. I compressed about an hour of walking the show floor looking at cameras, lenses and random accessories into just over five minutes. If you’ve never been to a photography tradeshow, this video will give you an idea of what it’s like to attend – only without the sore feet and puffy knees :-)

The video was shot with a Canon EOS 7D HD digital SLR and Canon EF-S 18-200mm IS zoom lens mounted on the Clik Elite BodyLink camera pack, which has an integrated camera mount and ball head designed to help support a big telephoto lens. The Bodylink won a PMA Pro Photographer Hot Pick award at the show this year. Although it was made with big telephoto lenses in mind, I found it’s also a great tool for stabilizing the camera while shooting video. This is the fourth video I’ve made using the Clik Elite BodyLink and I love it! The EOS 7D is pretty sweet, too. Now I just have to work on my video skills…
