HP announced five new digital cameras and three camcorders.
The HP CW450t and PW460t digital cameras feature 12 megapixels, a newly designed touch interface for viewing photos with the simple swipe of a finger, a 4X optical zoom and support of up to 32-gigabyte (GB) SD/SDHC memory. The CW450t has a 2.7-inch LCD touchscreen and the PW460t has a 3-inch LCD touchscreen. The CW450t will be available in black and red colors and the PW460t in pink and charcoal gray colors. The CW450t and PW460t will be available for $109 and $149, respectively.
The HP SW450 digital camera features 12 megapixels, a 2.7-inch LCD display, 4X optical zoom, a lithium-ion battery, and support of up to 32-gigabyte (GB) SD/SDHC memory. It will be available in turquoise and red colors for $129. The HP PW550z point-and-shoot digital camera features 12.2 megapixels, 5X optical zoom and a wide-angle lens, a 2.7-inch LCD display and lithium-ion battery. It is available in black or plum colors for $149. The HP CW450 digital camera features a 2.7-inch LCD display with 4X optical zoom. It will be available in black and red colors for $99.
The HP V5061u and V5560u touchscreen digital camcorders feature 3-inch LCD touchscreen displays, 1,080p high-definition (HD) recording and motion-detection capabilities. The V5560u features 5X optical zoom and a lithium-ion battery, while the V5061u has a dual SD/SDHC memory card and an option to install AA batteries if the lithium-ion battery is not charged. The V5560u and V5061u will be available for $199 and $169, respectively. The HP V1020h digital camcorder features 720p HD recording, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and a USB connector for easy video uploading. The HP V1020h will be available this summer for $109.
